Stop accepting small.

A normal life is a fine life. If that's what you want, this isn't for you. This is for the few who know they're capable of more and refuse to wait 40 years to prove it. It shouldn't take that long.

The method

Four moves from stuck to building.

Concert violinists don't get good by trying harder. They get good by practising the right thing, the right way. The same method works on money, fitness, family and purpose.

01

Wake up

Do the honest math on what accepting small is costing you in years, money and moments.

02

Start fixing

Pick one goal. Find the base skill that gives you the fastest visible win.

03

Stop blaming

Rewrite the story that's been keeping you small. Then keep one promise to yourself.

04

Start building

Deliberate practice, with feedback, every week. Mastery is just building on purpose.

Proof in progress

I'm not telling you it's possible. I'm showing you.

I'm doing this with a full-time job and three kids. Every feat gets documented in public, wins and misses included.

Pain is loudest in the moment. This book teaches you to stop living there and keep your eyes on the payoff at the end. It's how runners keep going mile after mile, how ordinary people pull off feats that look superhuman, and how you can do the hard things that build the life you want.

About

Hey, it's Jared.

Before insurance and real estate, I was a professional concert violinist. Thousands of hours in the practice room taught me one lesson: mastery isn't about talent or time. It's about how you practise.

I studied the work of Dr. Anders Ericsson, the researcher behind deliberate practice, and even got to email with him before he passed. Today I work full time in commercial real estate insurance, invest in real estate, and raise three kids with my wife in Alberta.

And I'm using everything I learned in the practice room to build a bigger life, faster than the 40-year default most of us are handed. I share all of it, so you can do the same.

The newsletter

One email a week. No small talk.
